Middle Distance Breeders
Pedigrees "kahuna" and "Cutie Pie"
This family of birds was established around two sisters off of Vern Crawley' "08" hen. She was a World of Wings breeder off of the best of Bob Kinney bloodlines. I crossed "Big Bertha" with "Tiger" a full Flor Engels bird. "Cutie Pie" was crossed with "Kahuna" a very good Janssen bird. In five years the family has established a very potent mix winning from 100 to 300 miles in young birds. They are also crossing very well with my other families. The second and third generations are proving just as potent both in racing and breeding as the foundation.

Speed / Middle Distance Breeders
This family was established around the foundation pair "Ed" and "Charlotte". "Ed" is a Victor Miller bird purchased by Vern Craley from auction at the Vegas Race. "Ed" has all of Vic' best blood including a slice of Jos Thone's blood from his foundation breeder "Impossible". "Charlotte" is off two Ganus birds that were bred off of four direct Janssen Brothers birds. If you need to win a race, this family of birds likes to race fast and in the front.

I was looking for a family to give some vigor and cross well with my other family. I found them while babysitting a few pairs from Mark Raymond "Ace In The Hole Loft". Birds off "801" a Clausing Houben and "The first Laidy" a Smith Family Loft bird proved to be the ticket. In two years these birds are proving to cross well and fly well. They like to finish in the top 10% and score points in the races from 100 to 300 miles. Six of these birds will be breeding young birds this year including "Primavera" a nice hen I pulled off the race team. She and LL 922 were on the drop from 252 miles, winning by 7 minutes. I expect good thing from these birds.
